Hexanaut.io is a free online multiplayer .io game where you step into a crazy world of real-time battles. As a player, you control a snake-like creature with a tail extending outside your base. Your mission? Enclose hexagons to capture territory and become the ultimate ruler of the arena. But beware—the competition won’t make it easy!
How to Play:
Capture Hexagons: Wander outside your territory to draw a shape, then close the loop back to your base to capture enclosed hexagons.
Level Up: Keep capturing hexagons to level up and gain a speed bonus.
Totems: Capture Totems on the map for additional bonuses:
Speed Totem: Boost your speed.
Teleport Gate: Instantly teleport near the edge of your territory.
Slowing Totem: Enemies entering its area will be slowed down.
Spy Tower: Provides full visibility on the minimap.
Eliminate Opponents: Cut other players’ tails to eliminate them. Stay safe on your territory, but watch out for attacks from opponents outside your base.
Winning Strategy: You don’t need to capture the entire map. Reach 20% ownership to become the king, then hold your crown for 3 minutes to secure victory. Just remember that other players will target you once you’re king—eliminate them to prevent respawns.
Controls:
Mouse: Aim at your cursor.
Keyboard (PC): Use WASD or arrow keys to change aim direction (option for turning with 2 keys in the settings).
Mobile: Press and hold (option for virtual joystick in the settings).
